install help

Hey so i have a 2010 LT2 with XM and Onstar (Which is about to expire soon) My question is what would i need to connect my Pioneer DEH-P4000UB to the car, for the moment i still will be using the factory "premium" pioneer system. I also want to still be able to use my steering wheel controls. I know there are a few things ive used on other cars fir the controls but the ones my buddies have used are $150 and thats alot for steering controls so if anyone knows a cheapper way...

u have to get the steering wheel control interface swi-ps along with your harness. look into the faq for the model numbers but the cheap harness is 70-2104 and the expensive one should be the gm lan 04

Ok so i went out and got a c2rgm11 and now im going to loose onstar, but my question is will i still get my diagnostic emails from them or no? Also is there an easier way to get my wheel controls, bluetooth and xm other then paying abiut $150 for each of those? I have a pioneer deh-p4000ub that will be getting installed soon... I hope lolj

mmm idk about the onstar thing id guess no. and bluetooth idk either but i wouldnt hold my breath. as far as steering wheel controls and xm yup u have to just buckle down and pay it. bluetooth can be had cheaper if you get a unit with the bluetooth built in but if u already have or bought the 4000ub then u gotta buy the bluetooth too

Already have the p4000, and im not liking the new decks, and the touchscreens arent my thing.. But the deck was one of the top pioneer had when i got it.. And the specs are still better then most their new ones. But thanks im just gonna get the xm adaptor and then wait till the summer for the bluetooth and wheel controls. Id rather spend the money on the garage setup first. Lol
