Installing Avic-z1

Well i purchased an AVIC-z1, and i want to know whats involved in installing it into my car.

Do I need any modules? Or is it just a straight install? They want like 200 bucks at least to install for just labor, and I have friends that can do it for free if its just a straight install..

Anyone who knows please let me know, thanks.

As long as you dont have onstar (or do have it but dont want to use it) there is nothing special that you need(except the normal stuff for installing a new stereo harness, antenna adapter, and dash kit)
