Im gonna go with just carpet so that everything go together good and im gonna mount my amp to the roof of the trunk so its out of site. My goal is to have a nice open trunk with no wire mess.

Almost done
So it was a long day and lots of work but I got bondo down and sanded. I worked late and got The carpet on also. I love how it blends to the factory carpet just like I Wanted.

Congrats on actually doing a very good job on the glass box man.....looks sweeet!!!!......I too have a 12W7 and i just laugh when i hear these people ask if you are going to put 2 in there......LOL......The car would fall apart in minutes if ya did that. The only thing that i would have recomended is that you used a thicker MDF board on the mounting ring.....JL reccomends an 1 1/2 mounting base for these subs and it definately makes a difference.....my first box was only 3/4 and the one i have now is 1 1/2 MDF and i noticed a big difference in the sound........But other than that you did a great job man.....maybe one day we can meet up and have a bit of a bass pissing match.....LOL.....Later
