JRANGER finishes his Fiberglass BOX
Yes..I have finally finsihed the box. I just ported the sucker today and it sounds way better with it. It does need some scratch repair from the isntall and I do need to clean the port out but here it is..... Also the entire system including the box is for sale @ https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/stuff-137/f-s-custom-fiberglass-sub-box-more-116881/

So let me get this straight....You just spent all kinds of time building a box and designing a system and now you're selling it????
PS what made you decide to port it? I never liked ported boxes. IMHO sound quality is better with a sealed box and they hit harder...

Well I did spend a lot of time doing it but its more system then I need. All it really means is once sold I will design another system. I want to down grade and I ported the system because the box is too big to not be ported. It was missing beats and so on because it was not. It was not sounding good even though it bumped really hard. So I ported it and now it hits all the notes and sounds great. Its a 4cuft box and the subs for a non ported box are suppose to get 1.2cu ft max
