Cool Just Wondering

I am thinking of hooking up my subs in my balt, and i was wondering when you splice into the rear speakers, do you have to do it up by the hu, or can you splice them right in back by the speakers and cut down on running wires all over my car. Another question is do you think that splicing into the rear speakers hurts their performance at all? Thanks!!

If you splice the sub make sure its before the amp. Speaking of that is the amp inside the sub box or before it?

you hooked up to the wires going to the sub? would you mind giving me an idea of how you did it? i would really appreciate it. and for cybcow, the amp is in the dash behind that little glove box thingy on the drivers side, at least it is in my car. just look under there some time and you should see it.

I noticed there are two sets of black and red wires going to the sub, and if i get what you are saying, you just spliced into one set of those with the converter?

ok, not a problem for me, but i did notice that the wires are pretty short, and kind of hard to get to, but thanks for the help. im going to be buying the "line out converter" tomorow, so i'll keep ya posted on how everything works out. im also ordering some underbody led's tonight and will try to post some pics and maybe some vids as soon as possible.
