JVC DVD unit fitment

I'm looking at getting a JVC KW-AVX740 for my Cobalt. I currently have a single DIN Alpine unit. Has anyone installed any of the JVC units in a Cobalt? Crutchfield and Best Buy sites says it fits, and when I installed my Alpine I cut some of the plastic and maybe even removed the metal bracket. I know the unit will fit but my concern is if there's room for my RCA cables. I've got 3 pairs of the KnuKonceptz cables and the plug is pretty beefy on them.

Any thoughts?

PS: If anybody is looking for one, Best Buy has the unit above on sale for $330 right now, it's a good deal.

personally im not a big jvc fan but thats just me. as far as fitment if u removed the plastic and metal then theres really no way you would have issues. even if u just removed the plastic removing the metal is easy, 3 bolts and its out
