Does anyone know how to program a new key fob for my 2006 ss/sc. I broke my two that came with the car and im looking at buying a new one.

What did you break on them?
Reason I ask is, if you just broke the outer case or something, you can easily take the board inside and pop it into a new remote, no reprogramming needed. I did that when one of mine got kinda worn out looking.
If the boards are shot, got crushed or wet or something, the only way to get new fobs programmed is with a Tech 2. Takes a couple minutes, don't let them charge you more than about a half-hour to do the programming, I've done them before, its not hard.

Just some quick info since its sort of related to this lol. The keys for our cars can be programmed by a gm tech out in their driveway, not special software is needed.
I just ordered a spare key for mine since i only got one from the dealership when i bought the car used. The key cost $20 and they programmed it for free since it didnt require the special software.
