Keyless Entry Help

so my key fab has been broke for several months, bought one on ebay last week, went to get it programmed today and they told me it doesnt work, sooo instead of buying one from ebay again, or getting one from the stealership for $95 bux, anyone got any other places they have gone? prices?

Dude I've been doing that for about a month now, I make a little game out of it and see how fast I can turn the car on, my record is three beeps I think, but it makes me really look like I'm stealing it

and did they really quote you at 95$ for a new one?

There's a simple how-to on here on how to re-solder the fobs.

Other than that, I would suggest Googling OEM GM Key Fobs, I think there are a few places that sell them.

wow your just as lame as me, lol i got 2 beeps just one time, the rest is usually 3 cuz its annoying haha but yeah 95 bux for that pos, lol i was like no way jose, and yes i have gotten some looks from some people lol

Thats bs, 95$ for something thats probably going to break again, both of mine broke

Mine broke so I solder it and it worked fine until the rubber buttons wore out then I got one of ebay for $20 and switched the rubber pad and it has worked great ever since

o...aahhh... yea, ignorance is a beech huh lol

but I dunno, check craigslist, people have all kinds of ****.. I got an 08 Nissan Altima Key that Ima put up for sale soon lol

but there, junk yards.. maayyyybe... an I dunno, $95 from Chevy isn't that bad compared to other companys.. are they gonna give you one or 2??
