leds for map light

leds for map light

Put leds in my map light and when they go off after shutting the car down they dont go off all the way .They stay on ,but very dim. has this happen to any one else?

yes... you can fix it with a diode if it bugs you that much. ive had mine about a year same thing without any other issues

yup mine does the same, but I don't think anything of it, because its not like they are stealing power form anywhere, that lead is dead when you open the door with the key out of the switch, i was told its the extra lil juice left in the wire, being led's take so little energy to light up.

sorta not really thou.. its not really extra juice in the wire but the actual design of the dome light. but the rest is dead on
