left turn signal problems help

left turn signal problems help

so i just recently bought a 05 ss i just installed 3rd gen projector hid headlights and the left turn signal bulb wont go on when i start the car it only goes on when i hit the turn signal also the the turn signal doesn't click into place when i do the left turn signal the rights is fine i wired the headlights the same exact way so i don't get it im not driveing this car currenly it jus sits in the garage when i bought it i cant say for sure but im pretty sure the turn signal didnt lock into place before the headlight swap thanks for the help

are the turn signal bulbs led?

^^^ if they are led take it out and turn it around the wore connector may be backwards to work, mu switchback led bulbs did that too

If not i believe stock bulbs are dual filiment so maybe one burnt out? Try another bulb

its not led jus regular bulb and ok i will try that but does that explain why the turn signal lever dosent lock into place

On the steering column? Its probably broken off

yea on the steering column the right one locks into place the left does not

The only time i ever had issues like this was on my old wrangler, and i replaced the whole turn signal assembly and it worked again tere was something broken on it. May be the same issue with urs

I'd start with replacing the turn signal stock... That'd most likely fix the problem with it not locking.

Then I'd check the bulb and the plugs going to the headlight assembly to make sure none of the wires get broken/pulled out of sockets during installation. Maybe reuse your stock wire harness (not the one that came with projector headlights)?
