Line out converter necessary?
Question for you guys,
Is a line out converter NECESSARY? or can I rig up something with some spare RCA cables instead?
I have a sub and a amp, trying to sell it for a friend... nobody wants to buy it until it's hooked up...so im going for a cheap install, and dont really wanna buy a line out converter...
I do have spare RCA cables laying around (the RED / Yellow / White) which i'd only need the red / yellow. But, is there a way i could just cut those, splice those into my stock rear speakers?
Or does the 06 by chance happen to have a red / yellow line in on the stock amp that i could use?

I found some old RCA cables, cut them, spliced them, and i get sound out of the subs, but not alot of bass.
Could it be because i'm not using a Line out converter?
