locations for installing tweeters... how about this one?

I have mine mounted in the stock location. Mind you my tweeters swival so i have them adjusted accordingly but i prefer the sound of them there

i think this is what il be doing... they chose the stock location for a reason, must sound ok... i will update later.

Again, every speaker and tweeter is different. Many of the after market tweeters you get are much more bright then the factory ones, so the closer you have them to your ears the sharper they become, especially when dealing with non-silk tweeters. Don't go off what other people do because your listening preference may be different. Take your tweeter and move it to where it sounds good to your ears and mount it as close to that point as possible.

right thats the best answer ive herd yet... I choose stock because i perfered the sound there but like i said many people dont.

yes i will be experimenting with this as well... i just dont wana drill a hole in my door panel, if i can avoid that, then its all good... but if i find that thats where it sounds best, then f**k it, thats where il mount them... ima go off what best suits my ears..
