Looking For iPod Adapter
Two questions:
1) Where is the best place to get an iPod adapter?
2) Best product?
Thanks.

go to your local future shop and pick this up [iSimple iPod FM Transmitters (IS76RC)] -129.99
it is an fm modulator... it connects into your vehicle through the vehicles antennas... when the modulator is turned on it blocks out all outside frequencies so that you are not competing with other radio stations... therefor no static... overall all they are the best out there right now... plus it will charge your ipod... and on the module it has an audio input left and white... so if you buy a "Y" cable or stereo cable you can connect any device with a 3.5mm headphone/speaker output...

an fm modulator is completely different then an fm transmitter... COMPLETELY... like i said above... the fm modulator integrates into your car system through the antennas... meaning its hard wired right in... when it is turned on you block out all outside fm frquencies essentially turning off your antenna therefore you do not get any bleed through since no outside frequencies can hit your speaker...
fm transmitters broadcast your music at an fm frequency with the antenna on allowing that frequency along with many other to be picked up by your radio... causing static... COMPLETELY different then an fm modulator...
now of course the best way to integrate an ipod into a car system with the best sound quality in mind would be to replace the HU with an aftermarket with either usb, aux or ipod 30pin adapter... but that also costs more then an fm MODULATOR... the least expensive route would be the MODULATOR...
and i have seen plenty of them installed and they have been great... no problems... no static no bleed through....
