Preference
I am personally drawn to JL Audio. A little pricey, but they really deliver a punch. Try a 250/1 and a JL Audio W3 in a slot ported box, you will be pleasantly suprised. Just my two cents.

Right?
I take it is the W# designed to be run off the 250/1, technically I would say the 250/1 is a little much for it, but with self control and the ability to tune the amp corectly, the 250/1 will run the W3 with plenty of room to play with. I hav this set up in my S10, and have it set at half gain. I think it gives significant thump to all kinds of music.

i was looking at those actually which amp would be good to run 1 of them only
so 250/1 is to big of an amp is there one a little smaller that will work fine with the w3

Smaller?
Trust me the 250 or any of the slash series are worht every penny. You can go smaller like a JL Audio A1200 or even a different brand, Like I said my personal preference is JL. If you want smaller you can step to a Boston Acousics amp and run a GT20 or GT40 on a Boston G1 or G2. My suggestion would be to try to find friends withdifferent brands in the vehicles that they drive. Keep in mind, the vehcile plays a vital role in the sound of the suz in it acoustically. I am sure there are several guys and gals on this site that have different setups in their balts and they are all happy with the sound that they are getting. Look around listn and do some personal listening before you decide, trust me its worth it. And if you go to best buy or any other big box store, make the let you test drive the sub and box in your vehicle. that way you know what i will sound like in your car before you buy it.

they are some of the best subs out there... most people will just go with alpine but spend some time searching and you will find something like diamond.. in fact you cant buy diamond online at all... they dont allow anyone to sell their products online...

W6
He is right the W6 is more than enough. I can tell you that those along with W7 are used in competiton sound vehicles. And a 100/1, well, if you realy want your head blown off by the movement of air, knock yourself out, I would agree it is probably the best amp out there, but for what your doing, its way overboard. Good luck with your endeavors, and if you havent figured it out yet, I am a JL dealer, so if you want some prices pm me and I ll try to hook you up. later
