MacGyver Style Aux Input Ideas???
I have a 05 SS/SC with the Pioneer sound system, and I was wondering if there was a way I could rig an Aux input to the factory radio.
My thought process was that if the XM controller is external from the Head Unit, then couldn't I just splice into the Audio wires going between the XM receiver and the Head Unit? Sort of like making the radio think its playing XM, but the audio is really an Auxiliary input.
Of course, that idea is based on a lot of shaky assumptions, I know its just a long-shot.
Any other ideas would be much appreciated. I have music ADD, and I could really use my iPod for this long trip I have coming up.
