major problems with h/u

so i just got the CA wire harness kit today, installed it and had stupid problems.

1. no sound at all was coming out. my buddy at work messed with it and he fixed that problem, apparently i did a wire or two wrong, but thats just the beginnining of the mess im in

2. radio works fine (for the most part) it periodically cuts off and i get no sound in which case i turn it off and when i turn it back on its working fine again (but with no subs)

3. CD player barely works at all, and if it does, its all aftermarket subs, nothing stock works with the CD player

4. when i play a CD all i get is the subs in the back, not the rest of the speakers of front, including the stock 10'' sub; basically when a CD is playing the only sound i get is from the 2 subs i put in the back.

5. when i play the radio, its the exact opposite of #4. no subs, all stock speakers.
the headunit works fine, when there is no sound coming from it. so i know its not the power wire.

here is my set up

2 10" MTX subs (very old but sound superb) connected to a 200w Jenson amp
then i have the Kenwood MP435U h/u

what can i do to fix this problem? is it a simple wiring issue? could it be that i need a higher fuse aside from the 10 that i have running it now? i know how to install stereos and i've never had a problem like this.

CD player works but with no sound, and when it does have sound its strictly subwoofers in the back
radio works fine but with no subwoofers.

please please please, i really could use some help. i want ALL my speakers to work ALL the time regardless of what format of music i play (radio/cd)

any tips or ideas? anyone else had this same problem?

i know im impatient & i also know that this will be auto-merged -- but does it still bump?

i hope so

bump?

there is a blue/white wire on the harness for the car and the harness for the radio..its your factory amp turn on he has your amp turn on wire hooked up to your power antenna wire..that is why you are only getting sound on fm radio
