my lights are dimming... no capacitor installed... any help?

Ok guys so heres whats up....

I have a 2007 Cobalt LT

I have 2 MTX 12inch T4500 subs rated at 500watts a piece...

And im pushing them with a Fosgate 1200 watt amp...

I used to have a small cap installed but I actually pawned it to make my credit card payment.

Anyways, my lights are dimming pretty bad.. and to be honest, its really getting on my nerves.. it sux... any audio gurus know why that it? faulty ground? wiring?

Please, any comments will help... Thanks!

lol.... optima is a battery bud lol not a cap.. now adding a cap to your system would help alittle... i have two subs (diamond D3 12s to be exact and im pushing them with a Rockford Fosgate T8002 comp amp. and i have a monster cap) and my lights never dim or only really dim when i turn it way way up

run two batterys is my opinion... i would runa yellow for your system and then another one for your starter..( i belive a red top)

He didnt call it a cap, yellow TOP is what he said, and since he has not edited his post, its always been like that.
The black tube is just a run off in case of spillage either that or its a breather in any case just unplug it from the trunk floor and leave the tube attached to the battery. This is what I did when I replaced mine. WEAR GLOVES, battery acid on the skin sucks, also wear shity clothes, even the dried corosion will eat through them
While your at it get a bigger ground wire for your battey, something 0 or 1 guage and as short as possible plus sand the paint away from the battery ground and if you can ground your amp to the same ground as the battery.

We wern't talking about the yellow top, I was refering to the tube that comes off the stock batt., and what to do with it when he removes it.
I think I read somewhere that Walmart down in the US sells them, but I'm not to sure. Try an auto parts store or car stero shop, not the big chain stores like best buy but a local shop where they know what there doing

lol for the stock setup u can just leave it there... i yanked mine and either pulled the grommet out or just put some second skin damplifier pro over it (along with spectrum over that and new batteries in a batt tray)
