That's exactly what I would be looking for if I got one in my car. I just don't see myself spending $800 bucks on appearance when I could do a lot of performance things w/ that money. Unfortunately not a win win situation. If only a headunit and bodykit would give me 40 more horse

I had to debate between what to do as well, but in my case I have a year to pay for the head unit so that provides me with plenty of time to do lots of other mods.

How much of a pain was it wiring everything up? Asides from the head unit is everything else with the stereo system left stock? I would love to get something like that if I didn't have to buy an amp, etc. Want to leave everything else stock.

So far everything is still stock, wireing was strait forward if you get the harness. My factory amp works well and all the speakers sound way better.

Could you possibly post a list of the parts you used, harnesses, dash unit, etc. I see that you already put the model number of the Alpine unit. Much appreciated.

Use the search button. I answered Taro's question about the same thing in a thread you can find on probably the same page as this one. You can get them on ebay or a vendor list at www.pac-audio.com and they run a few bucks less then $50 (on ebay anyway).

Theres an open button on the headunit and the screen slides down at angle angle.
