dude stfu...there's plenty of people who do it. and if it's a first box and the paint job etc. isn't gonna come out perfect it's a good option. i've seen plenty of people do it. go to fiberglassforums.com you'll find a few people who've done it.

try to get some of the better stuff out there. we use the textured bedliner in a spray can as port spray and some wouldnt be bad if u did a few coats but some is just paint with sand.

Without getting into a mile long tutorial, visit alpines website www.alpine1.com and look under the demo build section. Steve Brown (seriously the best installer on the planet) has photos taken of the builds and you can get a pretty good idea of how to properly do fiberglass, step by step.

http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-en/fun/

Scroll down once you click the link and look at any one of their demo builds of recent. The imprint RLS is good, the mini cooper is good and the BMW ULM is good as well.

Hopefully it will inspire you to do greater things with fiberglass, etc.

There is no better teacher than Steve Brown...you can learn a ton just by looking at pictures of his work.

Lookin for some tips on painting. First of all what's a good paint? And how many coats should I do? Do I need a clear coat after?

depends. theres a 2 step and a single step paint. the 2 step is usually better looking in the end but its also easier to mess up. i would get the single step
