Need Help With This Amp
So my other amp, first pic is kaput, and a bought this rockford fosgate punch 60.2 off a friend just to get my kickers working for the time being, should have been easy. So ill post pics then ask question.
BMW Nitro 2000W 2 Channel Amp
Rockford Fosgate Punch 60.2 Amp
My question is why isnt this working, all other wire connections have been checked no loose, or not connected wire found. Took apart dash and checked headunit those are all connected as they should be. Kicker subs are 12in comps

I'm sure you ment to do this but I did notice that the RCA's are not connected to the RF.
I can't remember if that year/model Fosgate had a fuse right on the amp or you needed to put one inline but check the fuse none the less.
Are you getting power, does the red light on the side of the amp come on
This will help to determain if it is a power or signal issue

the wires you are refering to were pulled out to show the colors of where they were going into, they are pushed all the way in, i got an inline fuse on the 12v red wire

Is that your remote wire in the first pic?
You know that one end that is sticking out is still live right?
When you get some batteries for your multi meter test the remote wire and see if its putting out 12volts . If it is the remote wire then in any case having an open ended live wire behind your HU with all that sheet metal to short itself out on is IMO a bad idea. Might want to tape it up.

i disagree , ever heard of a cold solder joint? or over time the solder bending and breaking in two? The best way to install it, is to have a TRUE PRO do it!
