Need help ASAP with problem with stereo.

I just put in an aftermarket stereo in my car and the controls for it on the steering wheel dont work witch i figuered. My problem is the cruise control no longer works. I went to test it. The on/off button turns off and the first time i hit the set button to engage it. It said cruise engaged on the panel and then wet away as soon as it appeared. Can anyone help me figure it out.

bump anyone have an idea

sounds like my issues with the cruise, although it's not from the radio. it's cause the car doesn't like when you ride the clutch (or don't shift enough gears)

its old problem, i used to have it, it is caused by having your clutch slightly engaged and then it gets confused and thinks your clutch is always engaged...

to reset the problem disc your battery for about 5 min then reconnect, it should work after that...i have never disc my battery, but it would work again after I got a new flash for tunes. Basically you just need to reset your system

EDIT: didn't read your last post, sorry, glad it works
