need help removing spare tire bolt/rod

I recently took my spare tire out of the trunk and there is a bolt thingy that goes through the tire and you screw on this cap to keep the tire from moving. does anyone know how to remove that bolt that the tire goes through. its like a tall metal rod.. thanks

You don't need to cut it! Mine came out some how, not sure how. It went back in really easily......wiggle it around and I am sure you can get it out

um....pretty sure there is a nut or somethin on the bottom side of the car that comes out first.

i remember ******* with mine just to see if i could get it out, seemed like not only did it have that one buck tooth to secure it, but a nut on the bottom side of the car as well.....
