Need Help! speakers.

so after figuring out that my front drivers side speaker is out i bought some new ones. i just went to install and found out that the speaker doesnt look blown but soaked with water, everywhere around the terminals(Another GM Flaw), so i basicly stopped and put everything back togather. so i wondering if there is a way to seal the back of the speakers so my new ones dont get wrecked. thx brad

I would put speaker baffles in the door to protect them while you figure something out. Yes they will hurt your lows but crappy lows is better then none at all. It seems like everyone's front speakers are going out, mine went out about a month ago.

im honestly not in an area where water is a big concern so i dont know much on how well they work but the foam ones tend to sound better. they do make plastic counterparts thou

yup i talked to my buddy thats a audio installer, he said the foam ones are better, cause they dont make noise like plastic and can expend and contract a little. when i do get them in ill let you guys know how it works. ps. it rains here all the f in time. it sucks.
