i apologized. but what is weird is i used that same spot for ground before and it worked fine. so i dont know whats going. my ballast didnt smoke the relay box did.

I live how everyone jumps on mike from buyhids.com haha I've had nothing but awesome customer service from them especially mike. And you got a full yr out your headlights awesome so u paid good money for them. And I would say it's the ballast not the harness

i bought these headlights and i also smoked a relay box with the bad ballast that was included in the sale. i just wanted to let everyone know what the problem was so if another person has a similar problem they can have an idea where to begin to look.

i just cant figure out what bulbs are used.

There One-Off Bulbs, We have about 3 pairs left we are trying to sell at cost to get them out of our inventory since we discontuined these lights about a year ago. PM me if you want a pair.

nope, just a bad ballast. i bought the kit from the op, one ballast worked fine with the relay harness, connected the other ballast and it blew a fuse first, i replaced the fuse then it cooked the relay box. luckily i had a spare ballast, now it works fine.

Not trying to start a war here but it wasn't a "bad ballast". Something the op did blew the ballast.... He even said in his original post that the ballast worked when he switched it to the other side...
