need question answered!
ok so hooked up amp and a couple 10's in my cobalt.. its a 06' ss 2.4l... just wierded out by the wiring of the stock cd player! im in no way a stereo noob and i know how to tap all the different places like wiper fuses and stuff for power but its the most stupidest way to do it because your stereo stays on after you turn the key off so if your setting there waiting in the car you have to always have your whole power to wipers guages headlights etc if you wanna continue to listen to your subwoofers! and i dont wanna put it on a switch with a constant power source because i know ill forget and run my battery dry all the time.. i even hooked the turn on wire to the stock amp wire and low and behold that has constant power running to it at all times! BUT! hence you turn the key on one click ahead you have instant power to just the cd player! where is that wire! im right soon gonna rip apart the steering colomb and find that wire that powers the " one click ahead " position because its driving me crazy.. has anyone figured out a better way to do this " the right way" with out getting a aftermarket deck? thats my question i guess.. ive even tested every wire that goes to the back of the deck and everyone has a constant power source or switched, none that stays on with the key turned off like the radio does till you open the drivers door.. frigged up! ... any help people? thanks

Power window fuse should be on the RAP feature.
Then again so should the sunroof fuse.
I'm pretty sure the stock HU's remote wire to the stock amp is Pink, it should be in the harness behind the HU, if not its Pink in the harness at the amp (on the firewall above your clutch pedal)
If you splice into it it should do what you want it to.
You might want to put a 1-2 amp inline fuse on the line though, its not really needed but its better safe than sorry.
Check on that amps that the stock remote line puts out, I know on most aftermarket HU's its like 0.5 amps but I'm not sure about the stock one, this could chnge the size of fuse you need on the line

x2 spuns got it.
RAP featue seems diffrent on diffrent cars so either test the fuses and see what you got or tap the pink wire off the stock harness. Its best done close to the radio incase u ever upgrade to an aftermarket down the road the wires there. Plus theres tons of pink wires in this bitch so.... Lastly fuse that **** please

i see a fuse in the fusebox for the amp thats 20amp mini fuse tapped into it and had constant power going to it..
and yes power windows will work but only come on when key is turned two clicks ahead.. but i guess would stay on after key is turned off.. might be worth a try..
