Need some suggestions on a new HU

Alright, I'm lookin for a decent, easy to use and AFFORDABLE head unit. Anyway, I just want to see what you guys may have experience with different brands and units. (Whats POS and what's good)

kenwood has a nice cheap unit... 138 modle. doesnt play mp3 cds and doesnt have a remote but other then that its a great overall replacement hu

well i was looking at a kenwood but someone said on a review that it didnt have an FM tuner..wtf is that al about?

???? it comes stock with the "seek" feature instead of manually selecting stations so their antenna might have been trashed and they couldnt figure out how to change that so it wouldnt get any stations. other then that no idea

i have no clue. how much are the brackets on crutchfield that have the single DIN and a storage space?...if you know off the top off your head

retail is about 15-20 bucks more towards the 20 dollar range

i like the looks and features they have but their sorta hard to work with and the last one i had broke right about a year after having it. could have been dumb luck thou

ill just have to go look at them.
i really want to buy some 8's and put them in the back by the back seats, but im affraid that its gonna be more than i can handle, project wise. cause im really not sure how to build a wooden box to fit in that space. you have any ideas?
