im ordering my new 4ch amp and am curious if i should go with some nice high quality speaker wire online or just go to the hardware store and buy some regular ass roll of speaker wire...

also should a 8g power wire be enough for the amp, its like 80rms at 4 ohms and 100 at 2 or something around there, its a infiniti 475a reference.

lastly, if i should order some high quality speaker wire, how much feet should i order for all 4 speakers, not really sure where im going to mount the amp as of now but its probably going to be on the back seat unless I can find a cool place to put it.

The wire size for the amp should just match to what ever its capable of handling.
If it has 8 guage terminals on it, then use 8, if it has 4 guage, use 4, ect, ect.

As for speaker wire if your going to run to front doors then go to a stereo shop and get the wire thats twisted together in a round tube like the stuff from KnuKoncepts.
If your doing all 4 speakers your going to need 50' or more depending on where you run the wire and where the amp is going to sit

You should be just fine with 8 guage

i ended up ordering 8g since its only going to be putting out like 350 wt...

and i will be running it to all 4 speakers but i only ordered 40 ft of 12g speaker wire...

i measured from if the amp was on the back seat and 40 feet should be plenty.

im just not sure how im going to route the wires from under teh carpet to the inside of the doors
