New DVD Radio

i want to purchase a dvd radio for my cobalt. will the steering wheel controls still work?

I believe Pac makes an adapter that will make them still work

any link or anything?
and will the display for all the readings still work. like coolant and all that. i read somewhere that it might effect it

depending on the brand of the DVD, PAC makes an adapter that u can wire in to have the stock steering wheel contols work.....each button has to be programmed and it takes a lot of patience and precision. I installed it in mine and I have a Jensen DVD head unit...works perfectly all the time.

you can most likely find it at any automotive performance shop or you can order it from crutchfield.com

is jensen a good brand for flip out touchscreens? i really want a in dash dvd that doesnt flip out but those are hella expensive.

those are actually dam good prices for touchscreens lol.....dam they are cheaper then what they used to be....its your preference if u wanna pay more for a touchschreen....me personally....when it comes down to it its no big deal being able to touch the screen....i control it from my steering wheel

hey man i dont know what your budget is, but ive got my alpine w200 im trying to sale. its in great condition. its worth 999, but ill give it up for 675 shipped.

hey, it will fit. you need the double dash kit, but thats it. you will also need the pac controller.

the alpine dvd head unit has that already built in so your wheel controls still work!
