I am assuming you are talking about the sub on the Pioneer system? I am not entirely sure as to how the amp is configured, but it may not be able to run due to a lack of some kind of output for it on the head unit.
For example, bose systems in an audi have low level output to the trunk where there is an amp for all the speakers, could be a similar system in this case, would need to identify the input wires on the factory amp and find a way to hook the RCA output into it.

if its the factory pioneer system, just connect the deck like any other deck, make sure you`re sub is clipped in properly in the back, some stereo shops are greasy.
installing my aftermarket deck was as simple as any other car

thats no the case, a lot of factory subs are lost due to the fact the aftermarket radio as a built in amp and it will conflict with the cars factory amp most of the time one of the two will burn up and ruin everything, what harness did you use?

nah it shouldnt... you hook up the 4 channels to the inputs of the amp... only thing it will do is make the signal off the amp hotter... but tradtionally high inputs can handle upwards of 17v so it shouldnt do anything... now i dont know much on factory amps but it should be the same as any aftermarket one (but smaller less power and no control)

The guy said it would heat up the radio or one would burn out. i just dont understand why u cant just connect the F-ing harness to the F-ing radio? you would think its a F-ing ferrari. I dont really know what harness was used it was a complete package and came with install. what harness did you guys use for ur radios?
