New System FTW

ok so, my question was what was all hooked up to the jumping peg?
And the yellow tops... they are just for the system right? and tell me that not being ran off the stock alternator?
My concern is my amperage and killing my battery now. Maybe we can talk off line sometime Brick. PM and we can exchange numbers if you're willing. I need to learn more about the electrical stuff

the batteries are connected in parallel, and the 1st battery has the cars power and ground wires and the 2nd battery is what is hooked up to the t2000 and my 4 channel amp
also, the t2000 pulls like 2300-2500 true RMS at 1 ohm and when its turned up all the way the amp voltage drops to right around 12v...it usually doesnt go under 12v but your right a alt would be a worthwhile upgrade

he's talking about the peg in the front sticking out from the fuse box...essentially the one acting as a go between for the alternator and the battery. and yea...hook your batteries up in parallel or you're going to be getting some fat voltage lul (too much, this is not a good thing)

Yeah so MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT TODAY...... got my subs wired up no problem.
Wired the amp up and blew out not 1, but 4 fuses in my distribution block.... and have no idea why either.... I was so excited today when my amp got here and now have a massive migraine and feeling of utter disgust....
New SYSTEM FTMFL!!! I have no idea what the issue is.
Power and Ground are right and not getting hooked up backwards. They are the same gauge wire and nothing changed with the wiring except hooking up the new amp. I am stumped at this one.
And yes I was talking about the post next to the fuse box under the hood.

Yea, you gotta remember, power doesn't always = loud. You can have 1.21 GIGAWATTS of power and without the right setup it can still sound weak. Post up some videos man, I'd love to see it.
