Iv got my dvd drive in the trunk with the computer since I so rarley use it. My car pc has internet so I just sync with my servers whenever I get new stuff. And movies make there way over on usb hard drives.

I did this a couple weeks ago (but I screwed it up and broke it, so I have 3 more adapters on the way)...basically the same except that I used a 12v to USB cig adapter and took it apart and cut it into the airbag filler in the dash. how much would you charge to do this for other people if they payed shipping both ways? i can do the fuses and what not, ive never molded so thats my problem

Awesome mod. Been wanting to rewire my aux port somewhere else than the head unit because of the need to use the console for drinks / driving and I hate messy wires all over the car...
