No XM Signal

So I just got my cobalt last week, and I love it. Except for one problem. My XM doesn't work. When I switch to XM it reads: "no XM Signal". I searched around and found that maybe something got unplugged, so I checked the connections and they are all fine. I asked the dealer and they said they didn't know what was wrong. The service guy gave me a diagram of the back wiring but like I said, the connections are fine.

Just wondering if someone can help me before I have to shell out a lot of dough to make it work.

Fuse and connections are fine as far as I can see.
Headliner connection and back connection good. Aslo, nothing is unplugged from the radio.

It doesn't matter if I have a subscription or not. (XM support says I have a trial). Channel 1 is a preview station, and should always play something. I've refreshed the signal a dozen times to no avail . I'm in a wide open area. Channel 247 says the same.

You can't take off the antenna. It's bolted on. So that makes no sense.

Ok, here is the rear deck diagram if anyone needs it.

But anyway, the reason I resurrected this dead thread was because I'm wondering if I can just straight replace the XM receiver itself.

Any tech2 stuff that would need to take place?

And if possible, anyone have a box I can take off their hands???
