I like it but it looks like those subs would sucker punch those amps. So you made a sealed wall and let the whole trunk be the "box"?

Nice, so I am thinking that since it will take time to get the subs I can go ahead and build the box and get two of the subs, while I am collecting the other 6 I am really thinking of making a transmission line box. I have been looking at a lot of youtube videos of them and was wondering how hard they hit...
As a side note, what does everyone think of SKAR Audio?
I am thinking about the MA-8 they look impressive on paper but I have no experience with Skar.

neither do i. but one thing i do have experance with is transmission line boxes. at the shop we paid pete k or pwk now to make us designs for RE audio subs. this was back when RE was made in the USA under the direction of scott and david and pete wasnt known by and back by everyone but just a small random guy really. 1 of the designs was awesome and made us a **** ton of money. 2 were ok but were rarely built them. and one was a flop. not better then ported at all really just more wood and time to build. only 1 was built.
We also tried building our own tline boxes since the math isnt really that hard to get down. out of say 20 designs half were decent the rest so bad we wouldnt give them away to a customer. out of the decent ones only a few were really worth while and still none of those even close to the gold one pete designed.
we also tried 3 or so of the pete designs he made for DD. they fared ok but all one offs we never built again. Moral of the story is they are extremely hard to get right.

So I have 2 MA-8's on the way and am building a 4th order. Original plan was going to be an 8th order but I didn't like the designs I came up with. My buddy and I are almost done with the 4th order using the MA80xe's as test subs since their box volume requirements aren't far off. Here are some pics:

Thanks man, with the MA's the box sounds good, much clearer on the lows but seem to drop off more on the highs, I am thinking it is just my subs for now since they didn't need so much room.

Yeah, right now the MA80xe's peak on my test CD between 50-60 Hz which I tried to tune for 50 to give me a little more working range between 40-60 which didn't quite work on the low end but did work pretty well on the higher fq's. There also seems to be a slight boost between 39-43 Hz but nowhere near the 50-60 peaking. Between 50-56 I can keep my drivers side window down and see it lightly flap a shirt, also when standing outside of the car(positioned as if I was doing a hair trick) I can feel the air rushing in and out... Amazing for 75Wrms to each VC on some DVC SQ 8's.

So the skars are in and I rebuilt a ported box... only on 150Wrms but they hit like a ************.
2 in a 1cf ported:
Horrible res Fosgate, Skar, Decaf - YouTube
When I only had one in a sealed:
Decaf+Skar Audio MA-8+Rockford Fosgate PBR300.1=SPL with very little wattage! - YouTube

Thanks bro, I see you realized who I was on SMD. lol.
They are begging for more power, I ran some wire to a buddy's car who was running some POS Lanzar 2000.1 and they definately got a workout, suprisingly they didn't get warm or anything and they were running for a good 20 minutes off his amp.
