the blend mounts are nice. didnt know about them when i did all the work on mine haha.

Mines hardwired into the fusebox. I ran the wire all the way across the drivers side then up the pillar then tucked into the headliner across to the middle of my wind shield. I put the detector right behind the rear view mirror.

While driving I can see it easily if it goes off. But it really can't be seen from outside of the car as it's blocked by the mirror.
