Pictures from Mach 1 audio's end of the year sound off. Stl area (56k warning)
This was before it got cold but figured id throw up some pics for brickloaf and a few other stl area stereo guys.
My buddy waiting for his results
Jeep Liberty running 4 dd (hit 147db if I remember right)
Kicker warhouse amp pictures (vehicle competed in the extreme unlimited class and posted up 158db I believe) its one of the audio shops from Washington missouri and I believe it had 12 kinetic batteries tucked in there. In this soundoff it got beat by the owners of Mach1 audio with a 3rd order setup that featured 2 12 inch DD subs each being burped at 3000 watts a piece in an 80s Volvo wagon (sorry no real pics of it) Will try to get some next time im down there. It uses 3 foot wide pvc piping for the 3rd order setup.

But I think the green crx was around 150db or so. They didnt keep the vehicle open long enough to get a much of a look at to what setup he was using though.

no every vehicle is different... i didn't show pics of the crx i posted but he has both boxes in different places bolted down with lines and measurements on his mdf floor.
Basically a true competitor wastes tons of time and money testing. i bet if he moved that 8" box 2 in to the right it would drop his score considerably. for all daily vehicles there's general ideas of what you should and shouldn't do and the differences aren't big enough to be noticeable on to a human ear. in SPL theres no real guideline on what is best... you just get a car start from scratch and test test test all the way

i'd be kinda curious to see how mine would compete in a SQL competition.
i know i'd not do so well on the SPL, as I'm not a bass blurb kinda guy and didn't aim my system for the creation of massive pressure. lol
as for that civic....looks like a lighter variation of honda's classic clover metallic green. was probably honda's 2nd best color of all time.
