Pioneer AVH-P4000DVD

Ok for the money this looks like a great HU, but I am concerned about the lack of a sub pre-out. Is there a way to change the output from rear to sub like some of the Kenwoods have? I just like to have a subwoofer level setting.

Or has anyone hooked up a sub to this unit? How does it sound?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the help again.

Maybe a couple more questions. I'd rather a HU with a minimum of 4 volt pre-outs over the 2 volts the 4000 has, but the price difference for anything with what I am looking for is much more. Is there a HU I've been missing? Don't need nav, or bluetooth.

I plan on hooking up just one Kappa sub or 1-2 w3's, I've got them laying around anyways. How big of a difference is the 4 volt over 2 volt? I haven't run a HU with less then 4 volts since probably 5-6 years ago. Would the extra money being spent on something with what I'm looking for be justified, or go with the 4000?

would it be justified is up to you. yes 4v is def better but finding that in a video unit leaves the selection slim picking. Most of your jensens and duals are like 1v and many pioneer, kenwood ect are 2 only a few of the more expensive ones they make bump it up to 4-5v
