Pioneer AVH-P4000DVD Help

buying a pioneer avh-p4000dvd where is the best place to buy it and a friend of mine has one but on his screen the BT is not light up or the tel. or the ipod now y is that?

u can buy it off of amazon.com for 300 shipped with remote and ipod connecter

and things on the menu only light up if u have that accessory for it

lol its all good dude, and yah it wa a total pain in the ass, the only hard part about it was trying to get itthe pin to go back in the slot

lol you wish. i dont have a working 07 cobalt harness and im not repining the ones we have again... im gonna try to order some different ones tomorrow hopefully they don't show up fucked too

im gettin this same one.. but this thread confused the **** out of me.. do you need anything for this unit to work or what? And do you only need the ipod connector cable to use the ipod?

yes you need the pbus ipod cable.. i200 or something like that

yup its either the module harness (120+) or the cheap one and you loose onstar/door chimes. but we have neither at the shop so i couldn't install it

depends on where you buy it... some places include it with the price so you get it "free" but no it doesn't come in the box

so to install this headunit in my car do i need anything special? ill prolly juss wait on the the steering wheel box for like a week or so i can save up a little more money

and harness. you dont want to cut your stock wires. you can really mess up your car like that
