Pioneer AVIC-D3 CNDV-80MT Update DVD Downloads!
I'm not sure if this is a re-post or not but.....
For anyone that does not want to pay the 120$ or whatever ridiculous price Pioneer sells the new 2008 update dvd for then look no further...
It works for more then just the AVIC-D3 also..
I've already downloaded, burned, & installed the East disc & it worked like a charm!
The guy hosting the files has a fast as hell server too & it only took about 1.5 hours for me to download.

I would caution anyone downloading this file. If you read the entire post you will see that some people have had problems with this download. It has worked for some people at first then suddenly caused problems. I tried to download it 3 different times and each time it ended up being a corrupted file. Also, the guy who is hosting that update, is apparently no-where to be heard from now.

I reset my unit first, then put the dvd in & the installation & everything worked perfectly. Some people were running into problems because of the programs they were using to burn it. Use the latest version of Nero & you should be fine.
I also find that everything loads a bit quicker now because of the update.
Another thing, It wasn't a corrupted file for me. How long did it take you to download it "lightsout"? I find it odd that it was corrupted for you & some people.

Once you unrar/unzip the downloaded file it will be about 7.5gb or so because it's a compressed file. It's meant for a dual layer dvd. It won't fit on a normal dvdr. I used a Verbatim DVD+R DL.
All you do is click on the image file & it should open up in Nero automatically or just start up nero & find where the image file is & open it.
It's cheap enough now, search for one on Ebay I wish I would have waited to buy mine because I would have saved like 500$!!
