Pioneer F90BT Nav Install...Help

So i finally got all the pieces the other day and would rather install this myself. Need some help tho:

1.) Need to find the pink speed wire...where is it in the cobalts?

2.) Do all the wire colors of the gmos-04 harness match the color of wires that came with the unit?

3.) Does anyone know of a how to for the pac swi-ps steering wheel adapter harness?

4.) Can someone link me to a how to on taking apart the dash trim to get the factory unit out and how to take apart the steering wheel to get to those controls? Or do I get to those controls from the back of the factory unit?

Been through a couple similar threads and talked to some people but havent found any for sure answers yet. Please help me out. This is gonna be my project for Saturday.

bump even if some one just has links to a picture diagram

Donno man, it was all straight forward on my car, but I don't have a cobalt, nor did I need to use GMOS... but on my buddys truck we had to use GMOS for his D3 and everything matched color to color.

dont even worry about the VSS wire, I didnt hook mine up on my f900bt and everything works fine. As for the Gmos wire thing it should have come with directions that are pretty good.

Did you do the hack so you could watch dvd/ipod video while the car is moving? Its really easy and works with no hiccups....

i was planning on doing the hardwire bypass by moving the mute wire or whatever. do you have a better way? i heard there is a software bypass but didnt look into it much. and my gmos didnt come with instructions i ordered it on ebay caz it was way cheaper but didnt come with instructions like crutchfield promises.

anything you ever wanted to know, and alot of stuff you probably didn't even think about with regards to the AVIC units can be found at www.avic411.com

I just got a 900bt unit and registered over there, lots of good stuff to look at and do to yuor new unit. I know I did a quick write up on the steering wheel controls long ago, not sure where it is though. I shall look for it.

on a side note, VSS wire in a 06 cobalt anyone?

I was gonna get a avic f90bt but i'm low on cash and just installed an old pioneer h/u i had laying around. I took it to a shop, took him about 8 hours to wire up my lan 3. He fried the first harness and then got it right with the second one. The second harness shorted out and blew about 5 fuses so be carefull with that too.

(forgive the begining of the post, someone asked about installing my cat in the car...as my installation pictures earlier in the thread had a pic of my kitty)
