Talking Pioneer FH-P8000BT

Any one seen this radio yet?
http://www.pioneerelectronics.ca/PUS...ers/FH-P8000BT

Looks sweet and specs seem decent.

Probably going to get it when it hits the stores in April.

That radio does look pretty good. I hate the black slots under normal radios. What do you guys think about the parrot 300. http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Parro...oductDetail.do

It would look better if it had an LCD display.

I am extremely satisfied with it. I didn't want a LCD screen and the shape of this one is very similar to the stock radio with the big center knob. It comes with bluetooth and the bluetooth is super easy to set up and use. The Ipod functionality is way better then my old JVC deck I had in my Equinox, its very easy to use and fast at selecting the songs. My favorite feature is the ability to turn the display off, comes in handy for night driving. They don't advertise it enough, but they have very good crossover (adjustable HPF & LPF) controls as well as a good customizable equalizer built in. You do have to cut or bend the plastic behind where the deck will be mounted as the RCA's will hit it, but that is really simple to do. I love the deck

Edit: Oh, I'm not sure how much better the deck sounds then the stock deck as I did all my upgrades at once. My system sounds oodles better then stock at this point, but I've dropped a few grand on top of the line parts. I'm sure with the EQ and more watts per channel then stock it would sound much better.

My setup is going to be a simple hook up to an Infinity 4 channel through alpine r components. You look like you've gone the extra distance with the equalizer. I'm keeping mine simple, I may upgrade the stock sub to a better speaker but the idea of keeping an oem amp in the car is irking me so I may go with a small 200-300rms sub. I think all together I've payed 222 for components 260 for the head unit, 140 for the amp. Just have to by misc stuff from what Emperor has told me for steering wheel controls, onstar. Trying to keep away from the grand mark haha, far far away.

Most definitely! I'll be running the Infinity which is 444watts rms, and probably a 200-300watt rms sub amp. Is that too much draw emperor? Oh yeah, how's that dual alternator thing?
