Please don't call me stupid, lol.

So I'm still kind of a newby to the Cobalt scene and I have a question about the bulbs in the speedometer. I've seen people do the led conversions on threads, but I don't have the vision or steady hands to solder what needs soldering, so my question is this. Is there a way to replace the halogen bulbs in the cluster to led replacement lights and get near the same effect? I have done this in a few of my cars and it worked pretty well when I took a black sharpie to the top of the led to make the light distribute more. Has any one done this or does anyone know where I could get replacement leds to fit the bulb sockets and if it would work? I'd love to know because I would love my gauges to either be white or a light blue. Thanks in advance guys and or gals!

The only way you can put leds in our cluster is to soldier them in. It's not a plug n play bulb.

That's what I was afraid of, lol. My dad can do it but my step mom keeps him so busy it'd take him a week to do it and I can't guess my speed for a week, lol. Thanks for the quick reply!

It's not that hard to solder and I haven't changed my LEDs yet but I got a how to and can show you step by step when I do it. I don't think you can replace the bulbs or alot of ppl would but maybe I'm wrong.

I really can't solder, I have really shakey hand's and nerve problems so I randomly throw things out of my hands not to mention not the greatest sight, lol
