i have seen 2 10's hit 155...with a custom tuned box, correct power supply, and a good amp....for a MMATS Pro Audio amp 151 is not even that crazy if we had more trunk space I would be doing 153+ with 1550 rms (I plan on upgrading to 9500's or maybe even swallow my pride a look into the RE mt's)
thanks for the link!!!
jw the box on that site why only 2dr...? I didn't even know their was a difference in the opening?

Ok I want to know what Joe Labato is running to do 182.2 (Sound FX, 10/11/08)
But I agree if you are friends with a builder then why the hell would you want a pre-fab?
That would be like living next door to Thumper and going to best buy and getting a bassworks...it just don't make sense.

So you just want a temp box, that makes more sense. I don't know if your going to get anything tuned to the freq you want in a pre-fab but as long as you stick to something thats, I think the numbers were 15" high and 32" wide but I may be off by and inch or 2 on the hieght, it may 17", Emp will know for sure. Anyway thats the demensions of the opening for the back seats into the trunk
And are you looking for something like this

I think we are looking at it from 2 different sides. You talking about what is possible and im talking about what is reasonable. Pretty much anything is possible but a consumer with a single 10 or even a retailer taking a single 10 to a comp isnt going to do anything like that. Even big competitors aren't bringing those numbers to the table. Just because u read something on the net doesn't make it true.... I'm not trying to talk **** about you or your shop or anything I'm just trying to get everyone on the same page. The way you make it sound is getting high numbers is easy... and ill agree with you give me a single L7 a couple thousand watts and a CRX and i can do a burp box that will get loud as hell (blowing the sub in the process but whatever) get that same L7 in a normal daily box in a normal car off a normal electrical system and there's no way those numbers can ever happen. 150db on the termlab is loud as hell and getting there is pretty hard. and its exponentially harder to get louder after that
I think your talking about the guys from Brazil who set the record with 1 18" DD, (high 180's) but there could be someone from down under.

its a USACI thing... mic is in the port... port wars utalizes the globe (8" diamater around the mic) so you need a port bigger the 8" to fit it inside, super port wars is the mic as is and you can do whatever you want with it

oo that's crazy but kinda cheap but still cool, and yeah i think that guy was from Brazil I heard he threw away thousands of dollars in different setups (he's supposedly filthy rich) I didn't think it was an 18" tho,
any way I decided I want to go with 2 10 inch 9500's instead, I found a vented box which has 2.5 cubes and I was wondering if you guys think that's enough?
http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...x-+2SBV10.html
It should fit no problem also, but I read in the manual of the 9500 10 inch that they say to build a box with 1.45 cubes a piece and mean while the MTX website says 1.25 cubes...so a 2.5 box I found I figured would be perfect but than I read that in the manual....You think the .2 is gonna make a difference?
sorry but thanks in advanced...
