he probably used stock speaker wire... and just ran wires from the amp to behind the deck... otherwise, like me you have to drill into the door, or somehow empj did it without doing that

i know you are using the same vinyl to keep it all matching but the tweet sticks out like a sore thumb. try using something more subtle so it blends in. Trust me it will look a hell of alot better

What's the wire ran through the door jam for? If you take a screwdriver and pull the carpet back from the inside, you can pop that groumet loose and run the wire completely through the door and not through the jams.

I do believe we have a winner.
However its not as easy as it sounds, those molexes are a bitch. Thats why Emp says God helped him, cuz they were sent here by the Devil to make life hell for those who want to amp up there front door speakers.

ok the wires are ran throught the gromet. that one red wire is actually running under the hood fro the alarm siren. and yes running speaker wire along with the the rest of them is a royal pain in the ass. but not as hard as everyone is makin it sound. just be careful and only open the doors about half way so you have roon to move that platic piece in and out

well seeing as i ran 1 set of 18g speaker wire 1 set of 13g twisted fosgate speaker wire (~6g diameter) and 1 set of 15g fosgate speaker wire (slightly bigger then 8g diameter) it was a bit of a bitch.
