Question?

I ordered the MP3 upgrade in my cobalt, my question is how does it work? I dont have my car yet so i am wondering if it comes with everything you need to take music from your computer and put it on your stereo? I have never had one, so if someone who has it could tell me how it works and how to work it please let me know. Thanks

The MP3 upgrade does not have storage built into the car. It is an upgrade to the CD player that allows the CD player to play CD's that have the music burn as datafiles and not as music files. This allows you to fit about 170 songs onto a single CD. It is easy to burn a CD like this and all of the major programs do it very easily.

yup, instead of making a regular CD, what you want to do is make a Data CD. You can folders on the data cd to catgerize (yes its mispelled) your MP3s. God knows life is much simplier with an MP3 headunit, this one is my second one.

That is correct, just burn it in data mode.
