Quick question

I just got done wiring my AEM wideband gauge. It is not currently connected to my downpipe because I am getting the bung installed tomorrow. It seems to be wired correctly but does not turn on. I would think that it would still start up with just the power and ground connected but I might as well ask.

Will the wideband not turn on until it is connected to the downpipe?

Bump, though maybe I messed up on my power or ground connections but they both checked out. Does the sensor need to be connected for it to turn on or is there something wrong with my gauge?

It should still light up. Plug the sensor into the back of gauge and see. That makes a difference
