Quick Question
Does the base CD Player (05-06) play Audio CD-RWs??

Searched and couldn't find a solid answer.

it will play a standard cd-r that is burned in cd-audio format. it will not play those burned in mp3 format.

it will, or should, if it says mp3 on the unit. mine does just fine.

mine plays RW's, but they cant be in mp3 format

if it's the stock base cd player, it should be fine with burned cd's... so the answer is yes, it will work... if you have the sports package, then you can burn mp3's as well...
