quick question, jacked up fuses
EDIT: i got 2 new inline fuses (100A) and i rewired EVERYTHING to make sure it was all wired correct, so right when i power it up, the amp makes a wierd squealing noise for about 3 seconds then the inline fuse blows. this happened with both fuses...
any ideas, my amp isnt under warranty anymore

I think he has a Fosgate T1000bd
That squealing noise is def. not a good sign.
Just because there is no warranty does not mean you can't get it fixed.
Emp's boss fixes amps..depending on the brand.
Emp: Your boss Sergie or something like that right?
If it is then just don't send him any US Amps products

yes he is... someone talking **** online? links to said threads... lets just put it this way we have alot of unclaimed amps. policy is the sender must include their info in the box and few tend to do so. Not only am i not psychic i don't have any pity. assuming i get the info ill call once when its done and leave a message but for the people that don't care enough about their amp to call, not much i can do. i can think of at least 6+ amplifiers we have "unclaimed" (sitting on the shelf next to my cobalt parts) our number is 575-524-5963 if i can verify the owner they can have all their broken amps back... for the spineless people that we fixed your amp and you never paid... cash in for **** off

Well they were but he was a member at the forum and stood up for himeself so don't worry.
In the posts he was trying to tell the guys that the US amps were hard to fix and he really didn't want to do them in the first place but he did. He also reminded them that the amps worked when they left the shop but obviously there were bigger issues with the amps that needed to be addressed, with the company that made the amp, not with the guy who tried to fix it.
The issue of unreturned amps came up but he explained in a professianal matter that seemed like a reasonable answer to me, but not to the guys at that forum, man they ran up and down him like he owed them child support. He however remained alot more professional then I would have if the roles were reversed. It really didn't matter what he said those guys were just like a bunch of women just looking to bitch and take there **** out on someone, they were very childish in the way they aproached the whole subject.
I can't remember the name of the site, I got there by accident. I was trying to find your shop's web site so i could see what products you guys were selling, good equipment is hard to find around here so I end up ordering online(I never did find it) and the site came up when I googled the name of your shop. This was a couple months ago, and I think the thread was about a year old but I could be wrong.
Ask your boss like I said he was a member there and I think whats his nipple the marketing guy from US Amps was a member there also, he should remember it.
I wasn't trying to stir **** up so sorry if you took it like that, I think by the end of the thread he basically stated he didn't want to work on US amps any more, it wasn't that he wasn't skilled enough to fix them, just that the amps are fucked up to start with and every time he tries to fix them he ends up coming out the bad guy cuz its easier to blame him then it is to blame the company that made them. I figured you would know all about this and get a laugh out it, the guys at that forum were childish and one could not help laughing at them, while they threw there temper tantrums

lol its all good i didn't take it offensively but i figured there was a chance you were an active member somewhere and would copy my message for me. Ultimately i don't care what are rep is online because it doesnt matter but these amps need to leave our shop. Some have been around longer then me and ive been working there for over a year and a half. Sometimes i go all ocd and start cleaning like crazy but when i see said amps i get pissed, there's no spot for them no place to put em and IMO they are an eyesore that i have to see everyday and cant really do anything about. I know people talk **** online about us and honestly i don't give a **** BUT i want to do whatever it takes to move these old ass amps home. most aren't worth **** and are blown up like you cant imagine but i cant throw em away.
sry for the thread jack but that **** pisses me off

ive seen so many of both it really depends. scary is when you see orange coming from an amp. most of the time its holy **** turn it off but one guy had a fucked dual that he wanted us to check out... wouldnt turn on but we saw the blown fuse in the amp. mind you it was dark as **** in the parking lot at night. replaced the fuse and had him turn it on. the amp just started burning no smoke just flames inside. one of the guys got the fuse out after ******* with it because it wouldnt yank out but me and another guy were just laughing
