Beltronics RX65 PRO is an excellent detector and its affordable. Found them brand new on ebay for 250. I have the GX65. It uses gps to alert me of red light and speed cameras. Also If I get a false alarm I can mark its location so it never goes off again. But that one is like 400.

I probably dont need to remind you that Radar Detectors are not an excuse to speed recklessly. They are tools to let you know whats going on around you. Never speed around town (30mph) and dont go much faster than 10 over on the highway.

Escort is a good brand too. I just prefer Beltonics =) Do NOT buy that Cobra/Phazer garbage.

Beltronics does that too. Sometimes I wonder If they are made by the same company.

I have the new cobra 9745, I like it, it picks cops up probably a mile away but hell the only time I really use it is on the freeway, but its saved my a** a few times. Most people wont recommend Cobra though.

We are a beltronics dealers and highly recommend the RX65, STI and GX65 if you are looking for a high end one with some nice bells and whistles.

Yeah. Valentine is from Ohio too.
