Radio quit working when Pioneer sub removed 05 SS/SC
My friend recently purchased a 05 SS/SC with the pioneer sound system in it. However, he bought the car at auction and the factory sub-woofer was gone. Now, the bad part about this, is instead of un-plugging it (is that how its connected?), it appears that the harness was cut.
The car has XM radio as well. The CD/MP3 player works and operates fine, as do the XM preview channels. The only thing that does not function is the radio on regular AM/FM. The antenna in the trunk is wired fine, and the deck was removed to check if the antenna wire there was dis-connected, and it was not.
Can anyone give an opinion on what might be wrong, and how to fix this problem?
