Radio wiring 2006 - Remote Signal / Radio on signal - WTF?
Hi there. Could anyone answer - what is that? General FAQ doesnt help to me (
B3 - Remote signal / pink
B6 - Radio on signal / Light green
(at left from RADIO on scheme)
I'm trying to install radio from Tahoe/Captiva/Epica with bluetooth to my 2006 cobalt. It's fits with some mod. Yepp! There no GM LAN. Only CODE Secure alert.
P/N 95213156 model - AGC-0090RV
This is pin out for it:
So. Could i get ACC power from this wire without stock radio? OR ACC power at "B3 - Remote signal / pink" will turning on only at stock radio trough command GM-LAN?

That pink wire in the Cobalt SS is used to power on the remote amplifier in the case you have one or a factory pioneer stereo system. The factory H/U receives its power on signal through the serial communication line from the BCM. It appears from that pin out diagram that you will have to supply an alternate ACC+ straight from the fuse box in order to use that H/U. Easiest way to do that is by adding a fuse tap into the fuse block in the center console in the power window fuse I believe is the best one as it has Retained Accessory Power function.

GFSwindle is on the money.
You need to tap a ACC+ because OEM radio on a 06 does not have one.
Tap the sunroof fuse in the in cabin fuse box. It works even if you dont have a sunroof.
